Qualifications & Experience:
- Current certification or completed training as a CVOR Tech
- Proven experience assisting in cardiovascular operating rooms
- Proficiency in handling sterile instruments, equipment set up, and specimen management
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and adapt quickly to changing situations
- Solid understanding of infection prevention and safety protocols
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- CPR/BLS certification required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare the cardiovascular OR for scheduled procedures, ensuring proper functioning and arrangement of necessary instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during procedures by passing instruments and supplies as needed
- Maintain strict sterile technique throughout surgical cases
- Monitor and manage inventory of surgical supplies and ensure timely availability
- Track and handle specimens properly according to procedural protocol
- Execute thorough cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments and OR environment post-procedure
- Document all procedural counts and materials according to policy
- Participate in ongoing training and maintain current credentials and certifications

$1,753 - $1,918/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
