COVR Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician | Charles Town, West Virginia

Required Schedule/Hours:

• Start date: January 4th, 2027
• Shift and schedule: Currently open—share your preferred availability for consideration

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech in a high-acuity environment
• Current, valid BLS Certification (AHA required)
• Strong understanding of operating room protocols and sterile techniques
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptability and calm demeanor under pressure

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the cardiovascular OR according to procedural requirements
• Assist surgical staff during complex cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are readily available
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
• Operate specialized CVOR equipment and facilitate smooth transitions between cases
• Monitor and account for surgical instruments throughout each procedure
• Collaborate with circulating nurses and other staff to ensure exceptional patient care before, during, and after operations

$2,322 - $2,448/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
