Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• A minimum of recent CVOR experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification
• Familiarity with a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and perioperative team during cardiovascular operations
• Prepare, set up, and ensure sterility of operating suite and instruments
• Anticipate surgeon needs in high-acuity environments
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain surgical equipment
