Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active CVOR Tech certification or equivalent allied health credential
  • Current BLS or ACLS certification (as required by facility)
  • Minimum of one year experience in a CVOR/surgical tech role
  • Proficiency supporting cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases
  • Familiarity with sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
  • Excellent communication and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room and organize surgical tools for cardiovascular procedures
  • Assist surgeons and surgical team during complex operations
  • Monitor and maintain a sterile field at all times
  • Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and sterilization of instruments
  • Support patient safety and workflow efficiency from pre-op through post-op
  • Document case details and maintain accurate patient records

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
