Key Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or relevant experience as a CVOR Tech
  • Active national certification (CST/CSFA) strongly preferred
  • At least 1-2 years’ direct experience in the CVOR environment
  • Knowledge and familiarity with cardiovascular procedures, instruments, and sterile technique
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative surgical team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the cardiovascular operating room by ensuring proper sterilization, equipment setup, and supply inventory
  • Assist surgeons and nursing staff during open-heart surgeries and vascular procedures
  • Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and safety protocols
  • Maintain and count instruments and supplies before, during, and after procedures
  • Keep accurate, detailed patient and procedure records

$2,045 - $2,163/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
