Schedule/Hours:
- Weekday shifts: 7A – 5P
- No weekends required
- On-call: Call required; specific expectations discussed during the interview
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ expertise in Cardiovascular Surgery
- Demonstrated flexibility, self-confidence, and ability to collaborate with a team
- Experience operating with Stryker/GE equipment
- Proficiency in Meditech EMR
- Willingness to float as needed across market locations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the OR Heart Team—including advanced procedures such as CABG, AAA repair, valve replacement, and TAVR
- Assist alongside two RNs as part of a dedicated day-shift team, ensuring safe and precise patient care
- Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in a high-acuity surgical setting
- Support market coverage across three campuses, adapting quickly to varying unit cultures
- Uphold best practices and safety standards while navigating complex surgical cases
