COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) - Denver, CO

Key Qualifications:

• Relevant certification as a CVOR Tech or Surgical Technologist required
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control practices
• Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical instruments and procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room environment
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for each procedure
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during cardiovascular surgeries by anticipating needs and handling instruments efficiently
• Monitor sterile field to uphold infection control standards at all times
• Document supplies used and assist in inventory management
• Participate in pre- and post-operative room setup and breakdown
• Respond calmly and effectively in fast-paced, high-stress scenarios
