Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Tech experience
• Valid and current Pennsylvania state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TSC) credentials
• Completion of PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare OR for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, anticipating needs and maintaining a safe, efficient environment
• Manage specimen collection, documentation, and labeling according to facility protocols
• Monitor and uphold stringent infection control and patient safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia professionals throughout each case
