COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Englewood, CO

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technologist with specialized training or experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings
• Minimum of one year recent CVOR Tech experience preferred
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond quickly in high-pressure scenarios
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation specific to cardiovascular procedures
• Current BLS certification required
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during complex cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available and sterile
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards within the OR
• Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and account for all surgical instruments throughout procedures
• Support patient positioning, draping, and operative site preparation
