COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Englewood, CO

Seeking an experienced CVOR Tech with strong nursing skills to support cardiovascular operating rooms. Qualifications:

• Certification as a CVOR Technician
• Background as a surgical technologist in cardiovascular environments
• Proven experience in nursing-related tasks within the OR setting
• In-depth knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile technique
• Ability to handle specialized cardiovascular equipment and instruments
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Current BLS or equivalent certification

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain cardiovascular operating rooms before, during, and after procedures
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating needs during surgery
• Ensure all required equipment and materials are properly sterilized and available
• Monitor and uphold sterile field standards throughout operations
• Provide direct support to nursing and surgical staff as directed
• Accurately document procedures, supplies used, and observations
• Maintain a safe, organized working environment in line with established hospital policies
