An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide essential support in cardiovascular operating rooms. This contract role involves working alongside surgeons, nurses, and other clinical team members to ensure safe, high-quality care during complex surgical procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech with a focus on cardiovascular procedures
  • Active and current certification or license as required by state regulations
  • Comprehensive understanding of sterile technique and aseptic practices
  • Proficient in preparing and handling specialized surgical instruments for cardiovascular operations
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced, high-stakes environments

Responsibilities:

  • Support surgeons by preparing the cardiovascular operating room and ensuring all required instruments and supplies are sterile and available
  • Assist with patient positioning, surgical site maintenance, and intraoperative monitoring
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety regulations throughout the surgical process
  • Monitor and account for surgical tools and materials before, during, and after procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support seamless, high-quality patient care
  • Accurately document patient and procedural details according to facility standards
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve equipment or supply issues as needed
