COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) - Golden, CO

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract role with variable shifts based on surgical caseload

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a CVOR Tech or Surgical Technologist with robust CVOR experience
• Previous experience supporting complex cardiovascular surgical procedures preferred
• Proficient with sterile technique and surgical instrumentation related to cardiac cases
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to efficiently support a fast-paced surgical team

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and sterile supplies specific to cardiovascular procedures
• Assist the surgical and nursing team by ensuring instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and functioning
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards and contribute to overall patient safety
• Anticipate the needs of surgical staff during procedures, passing instruments and handling specimens as instructed
• Monitor and maintain the sterile field during operations
• Participate in room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases
