Desired Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a CVOR Tech or Nursing CVOR Tech role
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Thorough grasp of cardiovascular procedures, equipment setup, and sterile technique
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and ensure all instruments and supplies are ready
• Assist surgeons and the CVOR team during complex cardiovascular procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile protocols
• Monitor and manage surgical instruments and materials throughout operations
• Support postoperative patient care as needed
• Collaborate with perioperative and leadership teams for seamless patient outcomes
