COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Hazard, KY

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a CVOR Tech (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated proficiency with cardiovascular surgical instruments and supplies
• At least one year of direct CVOR or relevant surgical tech experience
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and infection control standards
• Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and respond quickly in critical moments
• BLS certification (required); CNOR or additional certificates are a plus
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and all necessary supplies for cardiovascular surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and team members throughout procedures, managing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
• Monitor and manage equipment before, during, and after surgeries
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical activities and patient safety practices
• Support post-operative processes, including room turnover and restocking for subsequent cases
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the surgical department

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
