Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgical teams with cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile, available, and functioning properly
  • Prepare operating rooms for surgeries, following strict infection control guidelines
  • Monitor and manage supplies, anticipating surgeon and team needs throughout procedures
  • Handle surgical specimens and maintain accurate documentation
  • Support patient safety by adhering to established protocols before, during, and after operations
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver the highest quality care

Schedule/Hours:

  • The contract position offers flexible scheduling within the hospital's designated shift structure

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification as a CVOR Technician or equivalent experience in cardiovascular operating room settings
  • Proven background in assisting with cardiovascular surgeries and using relevant surgical instruments
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure situations
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Current BLS certification (required); additional certifications preferred

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
