Key Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credentials strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience working as a CVOR Tech within a hospital or large surgical center
• In-depth knowledge of sterile techniques, cardiovascular instrumentation, and surgical procedures
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and operative teams during cardiovascular interventions
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Current BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and nurses during cardiovascular operating room procedures by preparing and organizing instruments and equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile field protocols
• Ensure accurate counts of surgical supplies, sponges, and instruments before, during, and after procedures
• Support the preparation, handling, and care of complex cardiovascular instruments and devices
• Participate in patient safety processes and collaborate with surgical teams to deliver exceptional outcomes
• Monitor operating room inventory and restock as needed
