COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Inwood, WV

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CVOR Tech in a fast-paced hospital or surgical setting
• Active Nursing - CVOR Tech credentials
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Thorough understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and support staff during cardiovascular cases
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Support cardiovascular surgeons and teams during operative procedures by preparing instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique throughout all cases
• Safely and accurately handle surgical instruments and supplies
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and transfer into and out of the operating room
• Monitor and ensure the cleanliness, functionality, and availability of surgical tools and technology
• Document procedures, supply usage, and patient information with attention to detail
• Respond promptly to evolving clinical requirements and emergencies
