Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts: 5x8-hour days (07:00 – 15:30)
• On-call required: 2 days per week and every other weekend
• Bi-weekly orientation

In this role, you’ll collaborate with talented surgical staff as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician, honing your clinical skills and expanding your resume with valuable “Fresh Heart” experience. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, flexibly floating within your scope across cases, and play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of care.

Key Qualifications:

• Two years of current and previous CVOR Tech/Cardiovascular Scrub Tech experience
• Fresh Heart surgical experience is a must
• Active AHA BLS certification
• National certification (NCCT or AST)
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
• Valid Driver’s License
• Flexibility to float as needed and work every other weekend

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist on a range of cardiovascular cases, including Fresh Heart procedures
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adapt to fluctuating ratios and census demands with professionalism
• Participate in call rotations as scheduled
