Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CVOR Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures and terminology
• Certification for CVOR Tech or equivalent (as required)
• Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and maintain sterile environments
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field before and during cardiovascular procedures
• Assist surgical team with instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are cleaned and sterilized
• Monitor and manage inventory of surgical supplies in the CVOR
• Support preoperative preparation, including equipment checks
• Adhere to hospital protocols and patient safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare staff
