Key Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist with specialized experience in cardiovascular operating rooms
• Demonstrated proficiency assisting with complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
• Familiarity with instrumentation, sterile technique, and CVOR protocols
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Current BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring sterile environment and readiness for procedures
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular surgeries, including open-heart and vascular cases
• Manage surgical instruments and supplies efficiently, maintaining organization throughout procedures
• Monitor patient safety, responding promptly to emergencies or evolving clinical needs
• Support preoperative and postoperative processes as needed by the surgical team
