COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) - Lake City, SC

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification or training as a CVOR Tech
• Hands-on experience supporting cardiovascular surgeries
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork with OR staff
• Familiarity with sterilization standards and operating room protocols

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time hours, contract position

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized CVOR equipment
• Assist surgical teams by anticipating instrumentation, equipment, and supply needs throughout procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques
• Monitor and document inventory of surgical tools and supplies
• Support patient safety and comfort before, during, and after CVOR procedures
• Participate in setup and breakdown of the operating room in compliance with facility protocols
