Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid CVOR Tech certification or licensure as required by state regulations
- Proven experience assisting in cardiovascular operating room settings
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and instrumentation
- Team-oriented work style with excellent communication skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new electronic health records and charting requirements
- BLS/CPR certification (additional ACLS preferred)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain CVOR instruments, supplies, and equipment
- Assist surgeons and nurses throughout cardiovascular operations
- Ensure a sterile work environment and proper patient positioning
- Monitor and anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
- Support post-operative care as directed
- Document interventions and maintain accurate patient records
