Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a CVOR Tech, specifically within surgical and cardiovascular procedures
• Relevant certification as a Surgical Technologist or CVOR Tech required
• Comprehensive knowledge of sterile techniques and instrumentation for cardiovascular surgery
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring all surgical instruments and materials are sterilized and organized
• Assist surgical team members during cardiovascular operations, anticipating the needs of surgeons and keeping the sterile field intact
• Manage and maintain specialized CVOR equipment, verifying readiness for procedures
• Monitor supplies and communicate needs to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation related to procedures and patient care
• Consistently uphold hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and industry standards of care
