COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Littleton, CO

Key Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential or equivalent transferable certification.
• Previous experience working as a CVOR Tech in a fast-paced hospital or surgical center setting.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular operating room protocols, instrumentation, and sterile field maintenance.
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and nursing team needs during procedures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assisting with cardiovascular and thoracic cases.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team.
• Ensure a sterile and safe operating environment at all times.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and communicate needs proactively.
• Properly handle and account for surgical specimens as directed.
• Support patient safety initiatives and infection control policies throughout every phase of care.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative room turnover and documentation as required.
