Deliver expert care and essential support within a dynamic operating room environment as a dedicated CVOR Tech. In this contract opportunity, you will play a vital role in cardiovascular surgical procedures, working alongside surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure each case runs efficiently and safely.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech or equivalent training required
• Proven experience assisting with open-heart or vascular surgeries in a hospital setting
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and operating room protocols
• Ability to anticipate surgical team needs and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating room and ensure all necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile, set up, and functioning
• Assist surgeons and nurses during cardiovascular operations, providing the correct instruments and supplies as needed
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and safety protocols at all times
• Monitor and track instrument counts before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient safety
• Contribute to an efficient workflow by anticipating equipment needs and collaborating closely with the surgical team
• Support postoperative transition and cleaning processes to maintain a safe operating environment
