COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Littleton, CO

Desired Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program, preferably with certification
• Recent, hands-on experience as a CVOR Tech in a hospital or surgical setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• In-depth knowledge of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Familiarity with sterilization techniques, surgical instrumentation, and maintaining a sterile field
• Strong adaptability to fast-paced surgical schedules and emergencies
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the cardiovascular operating room with required instruments, supplies, and equipment before procedures
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team throughout cardiac and vascular operations, anticipating and meeting needs promptly
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques at all times
• Monitor and restock surgical tools and supplies as needed
• Handle specimens and related documentation according to facility policies
• Support turnover and set-up of CVOR suites between cases efficiently
• Remain up-to-date on best practices and policies within perioperative care
