COVR Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician | Loveland, Ohio

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred; applicable state licensure as required
• Demonstrated experience supporting cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, instrument handling, and operating complex surgical equipment
• Strong attention to detail, ability to anticipate physician needs, and effectively respond in high-pressure situations
• Current BLS certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for seamless teamwork

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the CVOR suite, ensuring all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterile and readily available
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and prepping before surgery
• Provide direct support to surgeons during cardiovascular procedures, handling instruments and maintaining a sterile environment throughout
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and surgical efficiency
• Accurately account for sponges, needles, and instruments per established protocols
• Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures
• Maintain concise, up-to-date documentation related to surgical procedures

$2,668 - $2,822/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
