COVR Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician - Macon, Georgia

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Daytime hours

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent, with proof of completed training
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Solid understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate under pressure
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare the CVOR suite and verify proper sterilization of instruments and supplies
• Assist surgical team before, during, and after procedures, ensuring all equipment is available and functioning
• Maintain the sterile field and anticipate the needs of surgeons and nurses throughout the procedure
• Ensure accurate specimen collection, labeling, and delivery to appropriate departments
• Assist with room turnover and thorough documentation as required
