Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts
• Day shifts

Required Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent training/experience in cardiovascular operating room technology
• Previous experience with open-heart and vascular procedures
• Proven ability to function under pressure in a fast-paced OR setting
• Strong understanding of infection control and sterile technique standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• BLS/CPR certification (current and valid)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field for cardiovascular procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other support staff to ensure seamless case flow
• Handle and maintain specialized surgical instruments and equipment per protocol
• Anticipate physician and surgical team needs in real time
• Accurately count sponges, instruments, and other materials according to policy
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and intraoperative care
• Work in compliance with all hospital, OSHA, and infection control regulations
