COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Macon, GA

Step into a vital role supporting cardiovascular procedures as a CVOR Tech on a contract basis. This position places you at the center of advanced surgical teams, assisting with preparations and interventions in a dynamic clinical setting.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification and experience as a CVOR Tech
• Demonstrated skills in sterile technique and operating room protocols
• Ability to effectively assist nursing staff and surgeons during cardiovascular procedures
• Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
• Capacity to adapt quickly in fast-paced, high-stress environments
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, organize, and maintain instruments for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during surgeries
• Anticipate surgical team needs to streamline case flow
• Adhere strictly to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards in the operating room
• Assist with setup, monitoring, and breakdown of CVOR equipment
• Document relevant information according to facility protocol
