COVR Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician | Macon, Georgia

Deliver excellent patient care and contribute to surgical success as a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist with this exciting opportunity. This contract role is perfect for an experienced CVOR Tech eager to gain valuable experience in a dynamic surgical environment, working closely with dedicated healthcare professionals.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (Day shift)

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Technologist
• Proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST or equivalent)
• BLS certification (required); Advanced certifications (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams by preparing operating rooms and equipment specific to cardiovascular cases
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure the highest standards of patient safety
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs throughout procedures
• Accurately handle surgical instruments, supplies, and specimens
• Collaborate effectively with perioperative nurses and surgical staff
• Maintain clear, detailed records, and report on equipment performance
• Support quality and infection control processes
