Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Certification and experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech
• Proven competency with the set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CVOR equipment
• Familiarity with sterile techniques and infection control procedures
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate within a surgical team
• Current BLS certification (additional credentials are preferred)
• At least one year of recent experience in a CVOR setting is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all required equipment and instrumentation are available and functioning
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff throughout cardiovascular procedures, efficiently passing instruments and supplies as needed
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols
• Perform regular checks and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety
• Accurately document patient data and surgical activities according to facility standards
• Support postoperative room turnaround, cleaning, and restocking

$2,668 - $2,822/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
