COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Mason, OH

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred, with specific CVOR Tech experience
• Previous exposure to cardiovascular and thoracic operating room procedures
• Proficient in sterile technique, instrumentation, and equipment management for cardiac surgeries
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Current BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular procedures, securing all necessary instrumentation and materials
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile field requirements to prevent infection
• Anticipate surgeons’ needs during procedures, passing instruments and supplies efficiently
• Handle and operate highly specialized cardiac and vascular surgical equipment
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping prior to surgery
• Take part in post-procedure clean-up and instrument sterilization
• Document supplies used and support accurate case records
• Promote a safe environment by following all protocols and safety standards

$2,668 - $2,822/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
