COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) - Matthews, NC

Deliver essential support in cardiovascular operating rooms, leveraging your expertise as a CVOR Tech to assist surgical teams during critical procedures. Schedule & Shift Details:

• 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• On call: 4-5 weeknight calls per 6-week schedule; 1–2 weekends on call per 6-week schedule
• Weekend rotation typically involves call coverage only
• Holiday coverage or call required, in rotation
• No floating to other units

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CVOR Tech, preferably within high-volume cardiovascular operating rooms
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile technique
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond efficiently in urgent situations
• Current CVOR Tech certification (if applicable) and relevant licenses
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to high standards of patient safety and team collaboration

Primary Duties:

• Prepare CVOR suites and ensure all necessary instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use
• Assist surgeons and nurses during cardiovascular operative procedures, maintaining a sterile environment
• Monitor and replenish supplies and specialty instruments as needed
• Support the implementation of surgical best practices and adhere to facility protocols at all times
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain up-to-date certifications

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
