Qualifications:
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) program or equivalent training
- Previous experience working as a CVOR Tech in a fast-paced surgical or hospital environment
- In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instruments and sterile techniques
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- BLS certification required; additional relevant credentials a plus
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile and available
- Assist surgeons and nurses throughout operations, anticipating needs and providing critical instruments and supplies
- Monitor and maintain sterile fields during surgical procedures
- Handle specimens, supplies, and documentation accurately and efficiently
- Participate in post-operative room clean-up and equipment checks
- Collaborate with the OR team to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care are met throughout each procedure

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
