Seeking an experienced professional to support Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) services in a dynamic clinical environment. This is an excellent opportunity for those specializing in nursing CVOR technology who thrive during night shifts and are adaptable to fluctuating operational needs.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• On-call requirement: one night per week plus two weekends within a six-week scheduling cycle
• Weekend rotation: required as scheduled; coverage needed if in-house staff calls out and you are on call
• Possible holiday coverage if holidays occur during assignment period
• Occasional floating may be required, though unlikely

Qualifications:

• Current credentials and experience as a CVOR Tech with a background in perioperative nursing support for cardiovascular procedures
• Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical setting
• Comfort working during night shifts and adapting to variable on-call and weekend rotation requirements
• Strong organizational skills and attention to clinical detail
• Flexibility with occasional floating as operationally needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and specialized assistance during cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring optimal support for surgical teams
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot clinical equipment related to CVOR
• Monitor and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
