Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR Tech or Nursing - CVOR Tech experience
• Active Pennsylvania licensure and certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TSC)
  • PA Act 31, 33, 34, and 73 compliance
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt in fast-paced surgical settings
• Detail-oriented and committed to patient safety

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready
• Assist surgeons during complex procedures, anticipating needs and managing supplies expertly
• Monitor patient status and collaborate with the surgical team for optimal outcomes
• Adhere to all protocols and safety standards relevant to CVOR practices
• Document procedures and ensure meticulous recordkeeping
