COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Milledgeville, GA

Schedule:

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
• Day shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CVOR Tech
• Current, valid certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and equipment
• Ability to scrub and assist in all CVOR cases
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field for cardiac procedures
• Maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment required for CVOR surgeries
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control protocols
• Accurately track surgical counts and documentation
• Support post-procedure turnover and restocking of the CVOR
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
