Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shifts
• Contract assignment

Qualifications:

• Active CVOR Tech certification required
• Previous experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting preferred
• Proficiency in sterile processing and maintenance of surgical instruments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the cardiovascular operating room and ensure all equipment and supplies are available and sterile
• Assist surgeons and nurses during cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
• Monitor and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
• Handle and operate specialized surgical technology and instruments
• Assist with patient positioning and transfer following surgical safety protocols
• Facilitate the cleaning and turnover of the operating room between cases
