COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Milledgeville, GA

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech, with expertise in nursing practices related to cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Strong understanding of sterile field protocols, instrumentation, and operating room safety standards
• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and other health care team members
• Certification and licensing as required for CVOR Techs
• Solid communication and critical-thinking skills
• Proven ability to remain calm and focused during high-stress situations

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all supplies, instruments, and equipment are prepared and sterile
• Monitor and maintain operating room environments, adhering to strict safety and aseptic techniques
• Support patient care by anticipating surgeon needs and adapting quickly to procedural changes
• Document patient information, procedures, and operating room activities in accordance with facility protocols
