Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, daytime hours

Key Qualifications:

• Experience working as a CVOR Tech in a perioperative or surgical unit
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures, sterile technique, and instrument handling
• Proficient in preparing, maintaining, and ensuring the integrity of the CVOR surgical field
• National or state certification as a Surgical Technologist, if required
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, team-driven settings
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and necessary surgical instruments for cardiovascular procedures
• Scrub in and assist surgeons and nurses during cardiovascular operations
• Adhere to strict sterile techniques and safety protocols throughout procedures
• Monitor and manage surgical equipment, supplies, and instruments to support patient safety and surgical efficiency
• Assist with post-operative clean-up and documentation
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and the surgical team to anticipate and respond to procedural needs
