COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) - Monroe, NC

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts (7:00am – 7:00pm)
• 36 hours per week
• On-call: 4-5 weeknight calls per 6-week schedule, 1-2 weekend calls per 6-week schedule
• Weekend rotation primarily for call coverage
• Holiday rotation includes possible scheduled work or call shifts

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CVOR Tech
• Comprehensive knowledge of cardiovascular and operating room procedures
• Competency in assisting with sterile field setup and instrumentation
• Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively with both surgical and nursing staff
• Current certification as required by state/regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments for cardiovascular surgeries
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
• Ensure adherence to strict infection control and patient safety protocols
• Respond efficiently to urgent situations, including anticipated call-backs
• Participate in on-call and holiday rotations as scheduled
