COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Murrells Inlet, SC

Experience an exciting nursing opportunity specializing in cardiovascular operating room technology. This contract position is suited for professionals who excel in high-acuity, fast-paced CVOR environments and are eager to be a pivotal part of surgical teams. You’ll work with cardiovascular surgeons on open heart and vascular procedures, averaging six cases per day.

Schedule:

• Weekday hours
• Weekend call rotation

Key Qualifications:

• NBSTSA certification required
• Demonstrated experience in CVOR settings
• Confident assisting with open heart and vascular surgeries
• Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate and coordinate case requirements

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare the CVOR suite, ensuring all supplies and instrumentation are sterile and organized
• Assist surgical teams intraoperatively for open heart and vascular cases
• Scrub and support a variety of complex cardiovascular procedures
• Maintain meticulous documentation and support surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow team members during each case
• Adhere to rigorous safety and infection control standards in accordance with hospital policies
• Provide technical expertise during procedures and respond quickly in high-pressure situations

$2,838 - $2,992/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
