Required Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent
• Recent experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room setting
• Proficiency with surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and assisting surgeons
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (additional credentials may be required)
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to rapidly changing OR environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons by preparing cardiovascular surgical suites and instruments
• Scrub and circulate as necessary during cardiovascular procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to sterility and infection control protocols
• Collaborate closely with RNs, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation related to procedures and patient care
