Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist (CVOR Tech) for a travel assignment in Norfolk, Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled surgical technologist who thrives in a high-acuity cardiovascular environment and is dedicated to supporting exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

* Scrub and assist during cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
* Prepare and maintain the operating room, instruments, and equipment for cases
* Ensure proper sterile technique and adherence to infection control standards
* Anticipate surgeon needs and assist throughout procedures
* Collaborate with surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow
* Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures

Requirements:

* NBSTSA and VA License Required
* Minimum of two years of recent CVOR experience
* Experience with open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures required
* BLS certification required
* Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and sterile technique
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
