COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Perry, GA

Seeking an experienced professional to deliver outstanding patient care in a dynamic CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled CVOR Tech with a proven track record in surgical and perioperative settings.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day shift schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and registered nurses during cardiovascular and other complex surgical procedures
• Prepare, organize, and manage sterile instruments and surgical supplies for each case
• Ensure proper functioning, cleanliness, and sterility of the OR environment and related equipment
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to clinical needs throughout procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and workflow
• Adhere to strict infection control guidelines and maintain detailed procedural documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent experience in a cardiovascular operating room
• Previous experience in a CVOR or similar OR setting strongly preferred
• Active BLS certification; additional ACLS preferred
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical best practices
• Excellent attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork abilities
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
