COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Perry, GA

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift
• Day shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent nursing qualification
• Demonstrated experience in cardiovascular or cardiac OR settings
• In-depth knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation related to cardiovascular surgeries
• Proficiency in supporting all stages of surgery: pre-op, intra-op, and post-op
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and compliance with OR protocols
• Flexible attitude and commitment to patient safety
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field before and during surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia staff with instrumentation and supply management
• Monitor and quickly respond to changes during surgery, ensuring a safe surgical flow
• Track and account for all surgical instruments and materials
• Facilitate patient positioning and draping in accordance with surgeons’ preferences
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the perioperative team
