Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and supplies for cardiovascular operations
• Monitor and maintain sterility throughout procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to provide optimal patient care
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of the CVOR environment before and after surgeries
• Anticipate surgeon needs and respond swiftly to changes in operating conditions
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and instrument counts

Required Qualifications:

• Current certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting
• In-depth knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
