In this role, you’ll operate as a key member of a Cardiovascular Operating Room team, collaborating closely with top-tier surgeons and clinicians. Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Successful completion of an accredited CVOR Tech program
  • National certification (CVOR or related surgical technologist credential)
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Minimum of one year experience in a Cardiovascular OR setting
  • Strong understanding of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
  • BLS certification (and ACLS preferred)
  • Adaptability in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiovascular procedures
  • Ensure accurate set-up, operation, and maintenance of specialized CVOR equipment
  • Assist surgical teams during complex cardiovascular cases
  • Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards
  • Provide effective collaboration with nurses, surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff
  • Document procedures and patient data with precision
