Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist or equivalent experience
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum of one year recent CVOR Tech experience preferred
• Experience assisting with cardiac or vascular surgeries
• Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and collaborate with perioperative teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms and ensure surgical instruments are properly set up and sterilized
• Assist surgeons with operative procedures, gowning, and gloving
• Anticipate surgical team needs and maintain sterile fields throughout procedures
• Support patient safety and optimal outcomes with meticulous technique
• Comply with hospital policies, documentation, and infection control standards
