Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist or equivalent experience
- Active BLS certification required
- Minimum of one year recent CVOR Tech experience preferred
- Experience assisting with cardiac or vascular surgeries
- Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, instrumentation, and sterile technique
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and collaborate with perioperative teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare cardiovascular operating rooms and ensure surgical instruments are properly set up and sterilized
- Assist surgeons with operative procedures, gowning, and gloving
- Anticipate surgical team needs and maintain sterile fields throughout procedures
- Support patient safety and optimal outcomes with meticulous technique
- Comply with hospital policies, documentation, and infection control standards
