An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced professional skilled in CVOR Tech nursing. This position focuses on providing essential support in a surgical environment, working as a key member of the team to promote optimal patient outcomes. The role requires expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) techniques, contributing to efficient and safe operative procedures.

Schedule:

• 8-hour day shifts
• 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Certification as a CVOR Tech or equivalent experience in cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Proven background in perioperative nursing and sterile technique
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and respond quickly in critical situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a diverse surgical team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and the sterile environment before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures
• Scrub and assist surgeons during a variety of cardiac operations
• Monitor and manage equipment to ensure readiness and proper functionality throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation related to operative activities and support regulatory compliance
• Assist in patient positioning and provide technical support for complex cardiovascular interventions
• Uphold facility protocols and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
