Key Qualifications:
- Certified and credentialed as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician
- Solid background in sterile techniques and operating room protocols
- Familiarity with specialized cardiovascular surgical equipment and instrumentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and the wider clinical team
- Excellent communication and organization skills, with a focus on patient safety
- Current BLS certification and adherence to all relevant safety and health regulations
- Previous experience assisting in cardiovascular or related surgical procedures preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and arrange cardiovascular surgical instruments and supplies for each procedure
- Maintain a sterile field and provide direct assistance to the surgical team throughout operations
- Monitor and ensure all instrumentation and equipment function properly before and during cases
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and react promptly to changing circumstances
- Conduct thorough counts of sponges, instruments, and supplies before and after procedures
- Support room turnover and infection control protocols between cases
- Accurately document procedures and comply with hospital standards and policies

$1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
