Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Previous recent experience working as a CVOR Tech
• Strong understanding of sterile field requirements and infection control procedures
• Proficiency in assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting CVOR equipment
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all required instruments and equipment are ready and functioning
• Maintain a sterile environment and assist surgical and nursing staff before, during, and after operations
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment effectively during procedures
• Monitor and account for all supplies and instruments used throughout the surgery
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain high standards of patient care
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and preparation as required
• Contribute to post-operative clean up and the safe transfer of patients
