COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) - Viper, KY

As a CVOR Tech, you will play an essential role alongside skilled surgeons and dedicated clinical staff, ensuring the highest standards of patient care before, during, and after complex cardiac surgeries.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a CVOR Tech or in a similar surgical technology role
• In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques
• Strong commitment to patient safety and infection control standards
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and sterile supplies are in place for cardiovascular surgeries
• Scrub in and assist during cardiac procedures, maintaining a sterile field at all times
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment with a high degree of proficiency
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams to facilitate efficient workflow and positive patient outcomes
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot as needed to support surgical team
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility protocols
• Support postoperative room turnover and restocking

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
