Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgical team with cardiovascular procedures, ensuring sterile field integrity
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and supplies for heart surgeries
• Monitor patient and equipment status throughout procedures
• Collaborate with RNs, surgeons, and anesthesiologists to deliver seamless patient care
• Adhere to all safety protocols and hospital policies

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• Prior experience as a CVOR Tech, especially with open-heart and vascular procedures
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and critical care environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Active BLS certification
