Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential or eligible registration as required
• Experience as a CVOR Tech in operating room or cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate surgical team needs
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the cardiovascular operating room and surgical instruments
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during complex cardiac and vascular procedures
• Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Monitor, count, and handle surgical instruments and supplies
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient safety
• Support patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions
