Schedule/Hours:

• 4 shifts per week, 10-hour days
• Day shifts

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist required
• Prior experience assisting in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
• Proficient with sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and intraoperative support
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Exceptional attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the CVOR suite for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile
• Assist surgeons during complex cardiovascular operations, anticipating needs and providing instruments efficiently
• Monitor and maintain a sterile field, adhering strictly to infection control protocols
• Manage and inventory surgical instruments, supplies, and implants
• Participate in the setup, operation, and post-procedure cleaning of specialized equipment
• Collaborate with nursing staff, anesthesia providers, and surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures and equipment usage
