COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) - Warner Robins, GA

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CVOR Tech or equivalent role in a perioperative setting
• Strong background in nursing support within cardiovascular operating rooms
• Proficiency with surgical equipment, sterile technique, and assisting surgeons during cardiovascular procedures
• Current certifications relevant to operating room technology or surgical assisting
• Exceptional teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced situations and unique patient needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field for all cardiovascular surgeries
• Assist the surgical team with instruments, supplies, and equipment before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor and ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards
• Accurately manage surgical instruments, specimens, and documentation requirements
• Collaborate closely with surgical nurses, anesthesiologists, and physicians to optimize patient outcomes
• Oversee equipment set-up, troubleshooting, and room turnover for successive surgical cases
