COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Warner Robins, GA

Experienced professionals with a strong background in cardiovascular operating room technology are sought for a contract assignment delivering patient-centered care in a high-acuity surgical environment.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (day shifts)

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise working as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist (CVOR Tech)
• Proficient in a variety of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique specific to cardiac and vascular cases
• Familiar with surgical equipment setup, intraoperative troubleshooting, and effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Current certification as a CVOR Tech, and appropriate state credentials as required
• Solid understanding of infection control, aseptic practices, and patient safety protocols
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed in fast-paced, critical situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, manage specialized surgical instruments, and ensure all necessary supplies are accounted for before, during, and after surgery
• Perform critical tasks during procedures such as tissue handling, hemostasis, and maintaining clear operative sites
• Accurately document case details and support the surgical team with all perioperative needs
• Contribute to preoperative preparation and postoperative turnover of the operating room
• Adhere to strict patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance standards
