Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for cardiovascular surgeries, including proper sterilization of equipment
• Assist surgical teams during operations by ensuring accurate instrument counts and providing necessary tools and materials
• Monitor field for adherence to sterile technique and proactively address any breaches
• Support team in the care and maintenance of surgical instruments and supplies
• Uphold strict adherence to facility safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with RNs, surgeons, and anesthesia providers before, during, and after procedures
