Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current experience as a CVOR Tech or similar nursing role
• Cardiovascular/open heart surgical experience required
• Strong knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile technique
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Certification in Surgical Technology preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrubbing and circulating in cardiovascular and open-heart surgical cases
• Preparing, handling, and accounting for surgical instruments, supplies, medications, and specimen collection
• Maintaining strict adherence to sterile procedures and ensuring instrument integrity
• Supporting surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesiologists, and other team members throughout procedures
• Assisting with setup and breakdown of the operating room before and after cases
• Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and ensuring patient safety
